BuBash.org
Just a quick post to warn that, even though the IRC quotes website UbuntuBash.org was down for quite some time, I did not forget about it. The domain name still works, but it is now redirecting to the new website, which is at BuBash.org.
It was definitely an improvement over the old and buggy one using Rash. The software Chirpy is quite interesting, and it has all the features and bug fixes people asked. Thumbs up for the developers.
Hope you enjoy it!

I got home today to find a couple of envelopes from LPI on the mail. So, in case anyone is interested, here are a few photos I took from everything that came in the envelope.
It was not the hardest one to get, but it's the one I like the most.

Ubuntu Ethos
Since Jono asked and I have a few hours left until I fly back to Terceira to spend the Holidays with my parents, I'll take the time to answer.
"Why is Ubuntu important to you ...?"
I wrote about this before but I believe the the reason I use Ubuntu, and GNU/Linux in general, is because I don't like operating systems. I don't want to spend time tweaking/installing/removing/customizing something. I want to install it, make the changes I need (which are getting close to none on recent releases) and forget about it. For me an OS is a means to an end. A tool that allows me to do my work. Ubuntu has been the best software for this task.
"What aspect of our ethos attracts you and motivates you about Ubuntu?"
The community, like several have said, is definitely a strong point to Ubuntu, even though some believe it not to be a good thing (read todays posts on Planet Debian, it's there). Was and still is one of the main reasons for my choice. From novice questions to helpful people working on the MOTU team. ALMOST everyone has a good approach, and this prevents problems like the one happening on Debian now. I, for one, feel better knowing that even if I reply to an email on a discussion list but don't make any outstanding points, I won't receive 30+ answers from ignorants who only answered that way because they're typing, and not speaking.
Since I learned to value everything from the moment I get it, I honestly hope the Ubuntu community continues like it is, or even improves.
